Certified Nurse Practitioner
I've been a Certified Nurse Practitioner for 4 years. Graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Wright State University and Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. My experience is in family care working with a D.O. in Plain City, OH.
I am originally from North Star, OH and my husband from Coldwater, OH. We are very family oriented and love our small towns and communities. We have two children who are the cutest and silliest (I might be biased).
Here are a few tidbits about me outside of the office. I love the outdoors and nature. Some of my favorite hobbies include: gardening, going for walks/hikes, boating (Norris Lake is a favorite), and baking/cooking. If time allowed, I'd also read a good book for hours.
I decided to take the plunge and start Rooted in Wellness Family Care for a number of reasons.
1. I wanted to offer the community and surrounding communities a private practice that is open minded to natural and holistic treatments. I am continually learning everyday and this side of care is just as important as learning about pharmaceuticals.
2. I wanted to be a practice for families with unvaccinated children to feel comfortable, without judgement, to receive the check ups and acute visits they deserve.
3. I wanted to give women more natural options for treating their hormones. And offering PAPs in the office.
4. I wanted to show my daughter that anything is possible and to keep dreaming.
I know that my practice is not a one size fits all, but if I can help those looking for something different, I am ready to start scheduling.
Rooted in Wellness Family Care is a cash (cash, check, credit card) based practice. FSA and HSA accepted. You can also still submit your receipts to insurance for possible reimbursement if you so choose to do so. I will also help with finding the lowest cash based labs and imaging as needed (surprisingly these can be quite a bit lower than insurance copays).
Thank you for your support. I am always open to suggestions and hope to see you and your family soon.
